The 3rd-annual Woodbury Restaurant Week kicks off Monday, March 19, and runs through March 25. Fourteen of Woodbury’s best restaurants are participating in this year’s town wide event.
But Woodbury Restaurant Week is more than just a dine-and-dash. There are plenty of things going on in Woodbury that you can come and experience. Here are 5 reasons to get excited about Woodbury Restaurant Week:
Of Course, The Food
With 14 restaurants participating, there is something for everyone. Restaurants like John’s Cafe, Good News Restaurant & Bar, The Woodbury Diner, and The Olive Tree have very price-friendly prix fixe 3-course meals, while Al’s Best Pizza and The Split Rail have some free dessert and free beverage offers. Papa’s Main Street Deli has specially-priced burger and hot dog combos.
The Stamp Card
When you dine at one of the 14 restaurants, you’ll get a stamp card that will unlock special offers just for Woodbury Restaurant Week customers. Also, the more stamps you get, the more raffle tickets you’ll earn for the March 25 closing party… but we don’t want to think about the end of the Woodbury Restaurant Week just yet – let’s talk about all those great things that card will get you!
Discounts and Deals
You’re coming to eat, now stay and shop! Fourteen of Woodbury’s shopkeepers will unlock discounts and deals with your stamp card. Jewelry Café and Rustic Charm are offering 15% off your entire purchase, while Maison St. Germain, Shop Cathy B, and The Ruby Tree are among those with 10% off your entire purchase. Tricia’s Main Street Barber Shop is offering $13 cuts on Wednesday, March 21, and is also giving free cuts all week with a purchase of a massage. Canfield Corner Pharmacy is giving away free postage stamps with the purchase of up to three Easter cards. Also, nine antiques dealers will offer a 10% discount to stamp card holders. Participating antiques shops include Abrash Galleries Rugs and Antiquities, Country Loft Antiques, Wayne Mattox Antiques, and Martell & Suffin Antiques.
Town Wide Events
From the funny to the spooky, there are a lot of events happening this week in Woodbury! On Tuesday, Woodbury Brewing Company will open its doors for Comedy Night, which features three of the tri-state area’s funniest comics. On Thursday, there’s a Happy Hour at Middle Quarter: Jewelry Café, Rustic Charm, Maison St. Germain, and Woodbury Music Shop will hold their sip-and-stroll event in their respective shops. The Glebe House Museum & Gertrude Jeckyll Garden is having an open house on Saturday, and The Grounded Goodwife will host a “Get to Know Our Ghosts” tour on Sunday.
The Closing Party
Woodbury Brewing Company will host a wrap-up party on Sunday, March 25, starting at 4 p.m., with entertainment provided by bluegrass band Sweetcake Mountain. At that party, Woodbury Restaurant Week diners can use their stamp card to receive raffle tickets for a selection of prizes. Additional raffle tickets will be available for sale (12 for $10), with all proceeds going to the Woodbury Food Bank. Gifts have been donated by local businesses including Constantine’s, Hawk Ridge Winery, Litchfield Jazz Festival, Monkey Bar Gymnasium, and more!
