Members of the Pomperaug Valley Garden Club will present the PBS Nova film “The Incredible Journey of the Butterflies” at The Studio at Flanders Nature Center and Land Trust on Tuesday evening, March 19th. Nonnewaug High School's Wingman Program is hosting a pancake breakfast on Saturday, March 23, at the Woodbury Senior Community Center. The cost is $10 for adults and $7 for children. On Saturday night March 23rd come discover and learn about Flanders’ vernal pools and amphibian breeding places!  Vernal pools are fishless temporary spring ponds that form in the forest essential to many amphibians and other aquatic creatures.
