Main Street Ballet Presents Sleeping Beauty

Main Street Ballet Company will be presenting the full-length fairy tale ballet, Sleeping Beauty on Saturday, June 15 at 2:00pm at Pomperaug High School in Southbury. The ballet is one of the great classics with music composed by Tchaikovsky. It was first performed at the Mariinisky Theater in St. Petersburg, Russian in 1890 and choreographed by the great Marius Petipa. WVFD Father’s Day Pancake Breakfast

With a gallon or two of fresh pancake mix on hand, the Woodbury Volunteer Fire Department will hold its 38th annual Father's Day pancake breakfast on Sunday morning June 16th. The entire community is welcome between 7 a.m. and 11 a.m. Price is $6 for adults and $5 for children. Firefighters will cook the pancakes to order, offering a choice of plain or with blueberries, strawberries, or both plus a side of bacon. Breakfast will be served at the WVFD headquarters at 25 Quassuk Rd.
