All FREE, and open to the public.
Special Events taking place in Woodbury include a “sunrise” musical event featuring David Bibbey and Bill Geddes on bagpipes which will be live streamed on Facebook and Instagram. On North Green, we will have an “open mic event” from 11:00 AM – 3:00 PM. Musicians of all types my sign up to perform at http://www.makemusicday.org/woodbury/
The Big Green Egg will be there to provide an opportunity to buy lunch, or bring a picnic and enjoy the shows! Two pop-up Drum Bucket sessions will take place on the Woodbury Library lawn, so everyone can be a drummer!
A Family Fun event at Hollow Park will begin at 6:30 PM featuring The Bentutu Band, a 7-piece Latin rhythm band. Following the concert, there will be a sunset candle lantern sail on Hollow Pond. The perfect way to start the summer!
If you would like to perform, or have a venue (lawn, business or store) where people can perform, please go to http://makemusicday.org/woodbury/ and register on our matchmaking website. The site allows venues and performers to connect directly for a terrific free musical experience.
