Chiefs With Character: Chloe Koukopolous

Chloe Koukopolous, , October 2017 Chiefs With Character

Chloe Koukopolous is a junior at Nonnewaug High School, and was nominated by English department chair Jessica McKay. Here’s why Chloe Koukopolous was chosen as one of the Chiefs With Character for October 2017:

Chloe Koukopolous took on a pretty serious challenge this year with AP Seminar. She was really nervous to have to do presentations and work with people she doesn’t know. She has really risen to the occasion, and for someone who was planning to drop the class, she has really grown so much.

Chloe did an individual presentation on “what it means to be human.” She practiced so much for the speech, and with perseverance, she gained the confidence to present in front of the entire class.

We’ve talked about “grit” in the last week or so, and Chloe is someone who has TRUE GRIT.
