Chiefs With Character: Frankie Diaz Cosenza

Frankie Diaz Cosenza is a senior at Nonnewaug High School, and was nominated by guidance LMS teacher Todd Gorski. Here’s why Frankie Diaz Cosenza was chosen as one of the Chiefs With Character for January 2018:

Frankie is an enthusiastic, friendly and helpful student who leads by example. Frankie accepted a role in the newly-formed Chamber Singers, an auditioned choir of men and women. That commitment often extends beyond the school day.

Furthering his musical involvement, he auditioned for a role in Footloose for the first time. Casting all nervousness and insecurities aside, he put himself out there in front of mostly underclassmen, demonstrating preparedness and perseverance to budding theater enthusiasts.

Additionally, Frankie remained dedicated to the soccer team throughout the season. This young man greets staff and students enthusiastically and respectfully and maintains a quiet perseverance that merits recognition.
