Chiefs with Character: Michael Auriana

Michael Auriana is a junior at Nonnewaug High School, and was nominated by English department chair Jessica McKay. Here’s why Michael Auriana was chosen as one of the Chiefs With Character for December 2017:

I’m nominating Mike Auriana because he is the full package in class. He’s willing to help out any teacher, go home and find extra resources to help the class, provide valuable discussion in class, and is always ready to aid any student.

I’ve personally witnessed students going to Mike and asking for help. No matter the situation, Mike is right there with valuable feedback and advice. He comes to class every day ready to learn, ready to discuss, and ready to be a leader.

Mike’s enthusiasm and passion are infectious. He is truly an example for what it means to be a Chief with Character.
