Election Day Adventures for Kids at Flanders

Come to Flanders this election day to explore nature. Flanders is hosting this “Explore Nature Day” for all students in kindergarten through fifth grade. The students will get to adventure through the hiking trails, Botany Pond and Hidden Brook, and the Flanders’ North Barn.

The students will learn facts, stories, and the history of the animals preparing for winter and also about the farm animals. At the end of the adventure they will get a chance to decorate their own pumpkins to bring home!

There are three sessions offered: the morning session from 9AM-1PM, the afternoon session from 1PM-5Pm, or the all day session from 9AM-5PM. The cost per child for the morning or afternoon session is $30 for members and $40 for nonmembers. The full day cost is $60 for members and $80 for nonmembers. There is also early care being offered for $8 an hour.
