Just Woodbury, the organizers of the 2018 Woodbury Restaurant Week, have announced the restaurants participating in this year’s event, running from March 19 through March 25.
Fourteen dining establishments are participating, ranging from fine-dining to casual and family-friendly restaurants.
The participating restaurants are: Al’s Best Pizza, Carlito’s of Woodbury, Carole Peck’s Good News Café, The Charcoal Chef, Constantine’s, The Curtis House Inn, John’s Café, Market Place of Woodbury, The Olive Tree, Papa’s Main Street Deli, San Remo, The Split Rail, The Woodbury Brewing Company, and The Woodbury Diner.
“People travel to Woodbury for its warmth, ambiance, and the many opportunities that add to their visit. Dining out during Restaurant Week is one of those that has proven to be a gratifying social experience,” said Woodbury Selectperson Barbara Perkinson. “This is a great opportunity to showcase the many varied dining establishments that Woodbury has to offer.”
To kick-off the Woodbury Restaurant Week, Woodbury Brewing Company will host a “Meet the Restaurant” event the night of Sunday, March 18. Guests will have the opportunity to socialize with some of the owners and chefs of the restaurants participating in Woodbury Restaurant Week.
WBC will also host a special party on March 25 to reward frequent Woodbury Restaurant Week diners. As part of the event, diners will receive a card that will be stamped by each participating venue they visit. Four stamps will allow free admission to this event. This party will feature entertainment and drink specials, as well as a special announcement from WBC.
Special lodging rates are being offered by the Curtis House Inn, Courtyard Marriott/Waterbury, and the Heritage Hotel and Resort in Southbury for those planning a longer-term stay in the Woodbury area. These special offers can be found through the Woodbury Restaurant Week website. In addition, many of the businesses and local attractions are planning special events to coincide with this week-long event.
