Gallery: Cub Scout Pack 54 Holds Bike Rodeo

WOODBURY – Woodbury Cub Scout Pack 54 held its annual bike rodeo on June 26 in Hollow Park. The bike rodeo promoted bicycle safety, and was supervised Officer Rich Marsh of the Woodbury Police Department.

Cub Scouts and some of their family members participated in the rodeo. Cyclists were tasked with completing an obstacle course at a safe, controlled speed.

Following the rodeo, the Cub Scouts were treated to a canine dog demonstration by Connecticut State Police Trooper Bruce Lachance and his German Shepherd, Tobi, from Troop L in Litchfield. Officer Marsh also showed the pack how the department uses a drone to take photos from up to 400 feet in the sky.
