Gallery: Egg Drop at the Firehouse


WOODBURY – Students who attended the Woodbury Parks & Recreation How Cool Is That?! (Hands-On Science) camp at the Woodbury Volunteer Fire Department Emergency Services Building ended their week with an egg drop.

Campers were challenged to design their own “egg armor” to keep their egg protected, and members of the volunteer fire department dropped them from various heights. Finalists were in for a second treat: Arborist Bud Neal brought his bucket truck and dropped their egg armor from about 60 feet high.

The campers also designed a “Naked and Afraid” bungee egg armor, and those eggs were taken to task from Neal’s bucket truck.
