How to Get Your News and Announcements into Just Woodbury

Your hometown newspaper should contain all your hometown news. At Just Woodbury, we do our best to give you all the news that’s fit to print. But we can’t be everywhere. We’ve tried. It’s not pretty.

Just Woodbury welcomes contributed content about things that are happening in Woodbury, and to people from Woodbury.  We want to publish what’s news to you.

Here are just a few ways that you can contribute to JustWoodbury.com:

  • Write an article: Tell us about your son’s baseball team, your daughter’s Girl Scouts fundraiser, the opening of your new business, your school event, and more! We just ask that the article be at least 300 words and no longer than 500. Can’t write very well? Send us the details, and we’ll put it together!
  • Send us a press release: Do you have an upcoming event that you’d like publicized? Opening a new business? Launching a new club or activity? Send us the information, and we will add it to our calendar!
  • Send us photos: We love photo galleries, and so do our readers. Are you attending Nonnewaug’s basketball game or cheerleading competition? A concert or play at Old Town Hall? A cocktail reception? Send us your pics, and we’ll include them in a photo gallery!
  • Send us your Tag Sale listing: We love a good tag sale. Send us your listing, and include the address, time, day(s) and description of what you’re selling. It’s FREE!

If you have any questions, please contact Editor and Publisher Tim Parry at tim@justwoodbury.com (email) or (475) 444-3090 (voice/text).
