Hollow Park Trick or Trunk Event Set for October 31

WOODBURY – Woodbury Parks and Recreation is looking for civic groups, businesses, and families to help support its Trick or Trunk event on Oct. 31.

Trick or Trunk, which will be held at Hollow Park, is a safe alternative to rural door to door trick or treating. This event is sponsored by Woodbury Parks and Recreation in conjunction with other Woodbury Volunteer Groups.

Civic Groups, businesses, and individual families are invited to park their cars and trucks, throw open their trunks, sit out on their lawn chairs, and watch Woodbury’s youngest trick or treat from car to car while you pass out candy.

The decorations in your trunk can be very simple, and does not have to be Hollywood style and award winning.

Woodbury Parks and Recreation will have plenty of additional donated candy to share, but would like each family or group to bring its own to get started.

To register to decorate your trunk please go to:

Doors open at 5 p.m. for those cars decorating their trunks, and should arrive no later than 5:30 pm to decorate. No cars can leave the area until 7:30 pm.

For questions call: 203-263-3113.

Donation Stations

If you cannot be a part of the event please consider donating candy at one of our “Donation Stations” at the Library, Senior Center or the Rec. House.
