Intoxicated Woman Picks Fights With Business Owners

WOODBURY – A woman who lives in an apartment above the Northwood Village shopping center was arrested and charged with breach of peace and assaulting a police officer Wednesday after an altarcation with business owners there.

Amanda Ravenscroft, 29, of 15 Main St. N., was intoxicated and became combative with police officers when they arrived on the scene, according to the police report.

Ravenscroft was taken into custody after a brief struggle, was transported to Troop L for booking, and was released on a $2,500 bond.

Ravenscroft is scheduled to appear in Waterbury Superior Court on October 18.
