Matt LoPresti to Play Football at Hamilton College

Matt LoPresti of Woodbury, a senior at Mercersburg Academy in Mercersburg, Pa., has committed to play football at Hamilton College.

LoPresti, a 5-foot-10-inch, 195-pound running back/linebacker, served as a team captain at Mercersburg as a senior and has earned varsity football letters in both of his years at the school. He is also a member of Mercersburg’s varsity baseball team, which has won or shared seven
straight conference titles in the Mid-Atlantic Prep League, and has competed in indoor track & field for the school.

Off the field, LoPresti, who attended The Gunnery before arriving at Mercersburg as an 11th grader, has served for two years as a dormitory prefect and has been named an AP Scholar. His head coaches at Mercersburg have included Dan Walker (football), John Lowery Jr. (baseball), and David Grady (indoor track & field).

Hamilton College is located in Clinton, N.Y., and is a member of the NCAA Division III and the New England Small College Athletic Conference.
