Milana Jaffin: Chiefs With Character

Milana Jaffin is a freshman at Nonnewaug High School, and was nominated by English teacher Maura White. Here’s why Milana Jaffin was chosen as one of the Chiefs With Character for November 2017:

Not only is Milana Jaffin a conscientious and hard working student, she is kind and respectful to everyone and has a great sense of humor too!

On an October weekend, Milana truly demonstrated what an excellent character she has when she came to Trick or Treat Street to help our GSA Club with our Alien Invasion room. Milana was not a member of our club, but she showed up Friday anyway and helped the entire time (5 hours!) to set up our room and then came and worked the entire event the next day, handing out candy to children after she helped us to finish setting up the room.

Milana was so great to work with – willing to do anything to help our club. She then came to our meeting for the first time, and it was so great to have her join! She is truly a Chief With Character.
