Nonnewaug Boys Basketball Tops Housatonic 61-55

WOODBURY – The Nonnewaug boys basketball team raised its record to 4-1 with a 61-55 win Friday night over Housatonic.

Junior guard Jackson Baker led Nonnewaug with 15 points, and co-captains James Gengenbach and Jarrett Michaels both scored 14. John Khazzaka added 12 for the Chiefs.

Housatonic came back to tie the game at the end of the third quarter before Nonnewaug put the game out of reach.

The Chiefs host Litchfield on Tuesday.
