Nonnewaug Boys Soccer Bounces Back to Beat Litchfield

WOODBURY – The Nonnewaug boys soccer team came from behind Tuesday to beat Litchfield 2-1.

Litchfield scored a goal with 12 minutes left in the game to go up 1-0.

Nonnewaug’s Andrew Ray scored unassisted with 4 minutes left to tie the game.  Freshman Aiden Colby scored unassisted following up his own rebound with 2:30 remaining.

Leo Scherf had 10 saves for the Chiefs.

The win raised Nonnewaug’s record to 7-3.
