Nonnewaug Cross Country Teams Split With Lewis Mills


WOODBURY – The Nonnewaug cross country teams split their races with Lewis Mills today.

The boys cross country team defeated Lewis Mills 26-31.  Eddie Nicholas won the race in a time of 16:40.  Gregg Bastek, Connor Inglis, and Ian Budrewicz helped lead the team, which raised its record to 5-1.

The girls team was missing their top runner, and lost to Lewis Mills. But Nonnewaug junior Maddie Woodward won the race in a time of 22:06.

The Nonnewaug girls team  is 4-2.
