Nonnewaug Field Hockey Defeats Defending Champ Northwestern in Opener

WOODBURY – The Nonnewaug field hockey team opened its 2018 season Friday with a 3-1 win over defending Berkshire League champion Northwestern.

Lindsey Ross, Alyssa Renihan, and Steph DiSarro each scored goals for the Chiefs.

Nonnewaug’s junior varsity field hockey team lost its opener to Northwestern 1-0.
