Nonnewaug High School Drama Receives 15 Halo Award Nominations

WOODBURY – Several members of the cast and crew of the Nonnewaug High School Drama Club’s “Into the Woods” musical have been nominated for various categories for the annual Halo Awards that honor high school drama students from all over Connecticut.

Nonnewaug’s production received 15 nominations and students will represent the school at the Halo Awards event at the Palace Theatre on May 28, 29 and June 3. The Halo Awards are the premiere high school theater event that honors high school students’ achievements in all aspects of theatre. Over 120 high schools from across the State of Connecticut participate each year in the 2 day event.

BEST PERFORMANCE BY A FEATURED ACTRESS IN A MUSICAL:

BEST COMIC FEMALE PERFORMANCE IN A MUSICAL:
Anna Goodwin as Little Red
