Perkinson Appointed First Selectman: Gransky Returns to Board

Barbara Perkinson will serve the remainder of the late Bill Butterly’s term as First Selectman of Woodbury.

WOODBURY – Barbara Perkinson has been sworn in as First Selectman of Woodbury, and will serve the remainder of the late Bill Butterly’s term.

The appointment of Perkinson as First Selectman was made this morning during a special meeting of the Board of Selectmen. During the executive session, former selectman Michael Gransky was appointed to fill Perkinson’s vacant seat on the Board of Selectmen.

Gransky had served on the Board of Selectmen, but lost his seat to George Hale in the 2017 election.
