The Rakes Play for Newton Savings Bank Summer Concert Series

The Newton Savings Bank continues with its free summer concert series with the Rakes, an alternative country Americana band with a rock ‘n roll attitude, who will be playing at Hollow Park this Wednesday, July 25th at 6:30 p.m.

The members are from Southbury, Oxford, Woodbury, and Bethlehem and include Phil Beach on guitar, mandolin, and vocals, Chris Allan on guitar and vocals, Marc Poliquin on vocals, Scott Sullivan on drums and vocals, Cole Christie on the saxophone, and Bob Sherman on bass and vocals. The band mainly plays covers of songs that most people will be familiar with.

Bring your picnics, blankets, and chairs and enjoy the great music. The New Morning goodie bar will also be open for food and beverages during the concert.

Newton Savings Bank will also be collecting food and toiletry donations for the Woodbury Food Bank.
