WOODBURY – Rock-Skipping will have its place in the sun during the Woodbury Fall Festival this Sunday.
Keelin Freitag, who organized Woodbury’s first-ever rock-skipping event earlier this month, has accepted Just Woodbury’s invitation to share its space during the Woodbury Fall Festival.
Freitag, a Nonnewaug graduate, said he and a friend will share their rock-skipping experiences and talk about the tournament they held at Hollow Park two weeks ago.
Freitag will join local author Steven Michael Grudzien, who will hold a book-signing of his recently-released children’s book, Choosing Kindness.
“Keelin and Steven both have great stories to share with the young people of Woodbury, and I felt they could best be told at our booth,” said Tim Parry, the editor and publisher of Just Woodbury.
The Woodbury Fall Festival will be held Sunday, Sept. 30, from 2 p.m. to 6 p.m. on Main St. S. between Judson St. and Canfield Corner.
