Summer Reading Celebrated at Woodbury Middle School

WOODBURY – Reading never stops at Woodbury Middle School. Students at Woodbury Middle School participated in a summer reading program where they were asked to read a minimum of two books. Most students surpassed the minimum and impressively, WMS students collectively read over 1, 100 books this past summer.

Students were asked to choose any two books of their own selection and to log their reading in some way. As an added incentive, students received a raffle ticket for all books students read. Prizes were then selected after all raffle tickets were submitted. Parents in the Middle (PIMS) generously provided prizes.

Winners from the raffle drawing are pictured above: James Mahon (7th Grade), Caitlyn Holly (8th Grade), MacKenzie Pfahl (8th Grade), Aimee Shuhart (Library Media Specialist), and Sophia Manzella (6th Grade).
