WBYS U12 Girls Earns League Co-Championship


The Woodbury-Bethlehem Youth Soccer U12 girls team is the co-champion of the CJSA Northwest District B Division.

WBYS beat New Fairfield 1-0 lost to Litchfield 4-1 n Saturday to share the co-championship with Litchfield.

The team, coached by Maria Duncan and Jane Girgasky, played stellar defense and allowed just nine goals in eight games. Goalies for the season were Samantha Duncan, Kelly Farrell, and Nicole Cappelli.
