Sunday, 11:15 a.m.: “The Light Returns”  Presented by Rev. Linda Hoddy.  We hail the return of the sun on Solstice, and the coming of the “Son,” Jesus, the “light of the world,” on Christmas. Our service will celebrate Solstice and Christmas in music, scripture, poetry and prose. Would you like to share a reading or poetry or music that makes the season meaningful for you? We welcome your ideas and submissions, whether you perform them yourself or we recruit someone. However, we need copies of them by December 9 in order to weave them together into a service that flows well. Children will remain with us throughout the service, including a ritual of lighting candles for the non-material gifts we will give this season. What faith, hope, joy, love and peace, will you offer, and to whom? Please contact minister@muusct.org with your questions and materials for the service.  Our Worship Host is Julie Howell.
