Woodbury Seventh Grade Boys Basketball

The Woodbury seventh grade boys basketball team opened its 2017-18 with a pair of losses in the highly-competitive FCBL league. Woodbury plays teams all over the western half of the state.

Here are the scores and highlights from the first two games:

New Milford 47, Woodbury 30 (December 3)

Ben Stewart had a team-high 17 points with 3 three pointers and 11 rebounds. Dylan Chung had 6 points and 14 rebounds, Ryan Ponte chipped in with 4 points,  Treydon Medonis had 3 points on a three point shot, and Braedon Purser had 3 blocks and 13 rebounds in a hard fought game.

Danbury Pathways 49, Woobury 39 (December 17)

Stewart had a team-high 17 points with 2 three pointers, 4 assists and 10 rebounds. Chung had 11 points and 15 rebounds, Ponte had 4 points and 3 assists, and Purser chipped in with 7 points, 4 blocks and 11 rebounds.
