Woodbury Veterans Day Ceremony Held at Cannon Green

WOODBURY – The Woman’s Club of Woodbury and the American Legion Post 155 hosted its fifth-annual Woodbury Veteran’s Day Ceremony today on the Cannon Green.

All uniformed men and women who are serving or have served in the United States Armed Forces in pursuit of peace for the world were honored at the ceremony.

The ceremony included Cub Scout pack 54, Boy Scout Troop 54 and Veterans.  Guest speakers include USAF Lt. Colonel Lisa Amatruda, Army Nurse Corp’s Capt., Carol Doiron, Reverend Linda Williams of Washington, CT, Reverend Bob Cronk of Act 4 Ministries, and town dignitaries.
