Woodbury’s 9/11 Memorial Ceremony Will Be Held Tuesday

WOODBURY – The Woodbury Volunteer Fire Department will honor the victims of 9/11 on Tuesday, September 11 at 08:30 a.m. in Hollow Park.

As in previous years, an honor guard will present the colors and local family members of the dead will receive a salute and bouquets. A school chorus from Region 14 will sing the National Anthem.

The Fire Department will toll a fire bell in the traditional memorial salute to the 343 firefighters and nearly three thousand civilians who died in the terrorist attack on that sad day 17 years ago.
