The 2017 Woodbury Christmas Festival will be held in various locations around town this weekend, Dec. 1 and 2. Since its inception in 1985, churches, school, and civic groups have coordinated to offer residents and visitors a variety of events and activities that capture the spirit of Woodbury.
The event is organized by the Woodbury Junior Women’s Club, which uses the proceeds to make donations to civic groups and organizations when they are needed. Most recently, the group donated to the new playground which will be built in Hollow Park.
Proceeds from a limited-edition pewter Woodbury Christmas Festival ornament which is made by Woodbury Pewter also go to civic groups and organizations. The ornaments will be available at the WJWC’s craft fair on Saturday, and at Woodbury Pewter, Canfield Corner Pharmacy, and the Woodbury Town Clerk’s Office.
Here is the schedule of all the events that make up the 33rd-annual Woodbury Christmas Festival:
(Editor’s note: The events will disappear from this page once they have been completed. But you can check out even more events on Just Woodbury’s events calendar)
